We loved our dinner tonight at Stooges in Lockport,NY! Our server Mackenzie was friendly & knowledgeable! Offered food suggestions and was very attentive to our table! We enjoyed happy hour adult beveys(wine & beers!) And dinner in their charming dining room! Stuffed Burgers ... the thing to get when you have an enormous appetite! Our server was average and did a nice job, she seemed new. I had a CALIFORNIA CLUB: Stuffed with avocado, bacon, tomato and provolone. Topped off with garlic avocado aioli. The French fries were crispy and well seasoned. My husband enjoyed DA BOMB: Some cherry peppers, some banana peppers, some spicy capicola and smoked Gouda. Forget about it... The waffle fries were drizzled with honey and more like a dessert! The Margarita of the day was dangerously delicious, while my Bloody Mary was nothing to write home about. Very bland. The decor was fun and highly entertaining! I would visit again.
We checked this place out and not sure why we never noticed it before. Abby was a great host and waitress. They have a great beer and drink selection. We both had burgers and they were great. Like others noted, they are massive burgers! We will return soon.
At first the price may seem a bit steep, but it's only because you don't yet know what you're getting into. Seriously, the stuffed burgers and fried pickles and everything are absolutely amazing and I would be surprised if most people could finish their whole plate. We each got about three meals out of the one thing we each ordered. Really incredibly tasty, with excellent staff and a fun little atmosphere.
It’s just a really cool building, with great parking! The food is unbelievable, the staff is always so friendly! The way the dining room is set up if you come with your family, you can sit around the corner from the bar area so you don’t have to worry about your kids acting crazy or not they can just be themselves in this place! Every time we come home from Houston, my son can’t wait to come here and get a peanut butter and bacon burger! We had a little bit of everything today really cool twist on the fried pickles with wasabi dipping sauce and of course the wings are bomb! On top of all this get out and support your local businesses so they’re there to provide you with this great food and great service for years to come. The owners are really cool people.
This place never disappoints!! It is a MUST stop when we are in NY! I dream about those waffle fries and the hype around the MVP wing sauce is deserved!
I have enjoyed meals from this gem on the canal at least 5 times. Every time the food has been delicious. The chicken philly was phenomenal. The CBB is also top of this list for me! My kids loved the Mac and cheese ! The kids burger and chicken fingers were also a hit. From the atmosphere inside, with the charming decor to the great selection of tap worthy drinks a visit here is going to leave you satisfied!
We're new arrivals in town, and this place is now our favorite establishment. This is not a fast food joint, so order a handcrafted cocktail while they prepare your meal. The service is consistently exceptional; ingredients are of the highest quality. Skip the chain restaurant and go support a local business.
Great time here! Colin was super kind and friendly! Gave great suggestions and was on top of making sure our waters stayed filled! The fried Mac and cheese balls were amazing, we had them with the friend pickles and that came with like a Sriracha ranch that was great with the Mac balls!! Dinner was so good I ate so much and forgot to take a picture the wraps and chicken fingers were great! Thank you so much!
We had a great time at Stooges tonight. Our server Kaylee was fantastic and funny. Located in the old city hall and next to the Erie canal which is old history. We both had different burgers and both were huge and filling.
